Tonight on America’s Next Top Model, the girls get a little visit from American Idol finalist Clay Aiken. The singer shows up to assist in a challenge where the girls will have to act in a comedic way. Clay, who also starred in Monty Python’s Broadway play Spamalot, feels that his acting experience along with hisreality TV experience will give his comments credibility in the eyes of the models.
Clay Aiken told the Associated Press, “It was interesting to be on the other side of the table and think of all these things that I went through in 2003. I think the girls kind of appreciated that, the fact that I had been in a similar position, I was going to be a judge, yes, but be a judge who understood a little bit about what they’re going through.”
Clay won’t tell who is going home, but he says the girls who stay are “the people who are willing to be themselves and not worry.” As far as his own plans for the future, Clay says that his recording contract is now over with RCA and he is looking at labels, television, and stage offers. He continues to say, “All three look enticing, and I’m in the luxurious position of letting them sit down and come to me.”
