Despite improving their judges’ score, it was the end of the road for comedian David Alan Grier and partner Kym Johnsonlast night on Dancing With The Stars. So what does David have to say about his elimination? The Insidercaught up with the dancing duobackstage last night…
David told The Insider that he had a great time on Dancing With The Stars, but he is very sad to be leaving. He says, “It was a good run, it’s over and you’ve got to move on. I had a lot of fun. It was wonderful dancing with Kym, she was awesome. The other dancers were great, and you guys were really great to work with.”
Kim’s response, “I’ve learned some new jokes. I can’t tell them here,” she laughs, “But I loved working with David and he’s improved so much in this competition and he’s just done amazing I’m very proud of him.”
The other contestants also had some thoughts on the matter. Mark Ballas said, “We had a lot of laughs he brought a lot of joy to the set. He constantly had all the guys in stitches backstage. We’re definitely going to miss him. It was unexpected, but just goes to show that you never know and you’ve got to keep pounding away working hard, and hoping that the fans are enjoying as much as you are enjoying dancing for them.”
