Alot of people thought that Tuesday might be the last dance for rodeo champion Ty Murray on Dancing With The Stars. Apparently, we weren’t the only ones, because his wife Jewel was convinced he was going home too. Aw, c’mon, not even a vote of confidence from the wife?
The couple posted a new video on Myspace yesterday where Jewel said to her hubby, “When they said Steve-O was safe, I so thought you were going home.”Ty responded,”I wouldn’t say I was scared, but I thought there was a good chance we might have a dance-off last night.” But he’s certainly glad he didn’t have to participate in the dance off because he said the “prospect of repeating his paso doble wasn’t a welcome one.”
Murray did have a hard time getting into his paso doble even though he has had alot of experience with bull fighting. The judges thought he was very stiff. On the other hand, Jewel rather liked the dance and his “paso face.” Yea, yea. I’m sure she did.
Murray and his dancing partner Chelsie Hightower turned out to be safe, however, contestant David Alan Grier was not so lucky. Many thought Lawrence should have gone home instead of Grier. Murray says, “He was really enjoying the show and getting into it, I thought he was doing better every week.” No doubt, Grier will be missed among his fellow dancers.
