This week on NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice, the remaining competitors discuss how shocked they are at the firing of Khloe Kardashian and Tionne Watkins after last week’s viral video task. Joan Rivers is not at all happy that Clint Black is still around! Meeting in front of the Stock Exchange, Donald Trump tells Brian McKnight that he will join Team Athena (he was away last week). Joan expresses her dissatisfaction to Donald at the results of the last boardroom. Donald tells them that Lifelock is a company that helps fight against identity theft – their task is to help design a package and store display for their product – which is intangible! Project managers are chosen. Brian McKnight will manage Athena, and Natalie Gulbis will head up KOTU. George and Ivanka will be Donald’s eyes and ears this week.

The Lifelock executives meet with Athena first and gives them three keywords to focus on – protection, confidence, and security. The execs notice that Annie Duke is the one asking all of the questions, rather than Brian, the project manager. KOTU meets with the executives next. Joan Rivers gets rankled by Clint Black right away!

Ivanka arrives to observe KOTU just as Clint Black suggests a safe for a logo, and Joan suggests a bodyguard. Ivanka notices that Natalie has to try to keep the peace on Celebrity Apprentice. They decide on a safe, but Joan hates the idea. Athena has a different approach – they will use a photo of the Lifelock CEO on their packaging – Jesse James takes the lead in the design aspect and the rest of the team is pleased. Over with KOTU, Herschel and Clint have taken the graphic design of a safe and are having a safe built for it to go on. Meanwhile, Athena’s building team is waiting patiently – they still don’t know what the team wants! Annie calls and finds out that there is a time-crunch for the display – she calls Jesse and Brande. Melissa feels that Annie is absolving herself of responsibility, and Annie is frustrated with Brian not telling people what to do.

Celebrity Apprentice’s Jesse and Brande are traveling to Brooklyn to have the display built for Athena, but Jesse gets sick along the way. He perseveres to the best of his ability. Natalie and Joan are working on the pamphlet for KOTU – Joan thinks she’s naÃve, but is being smart enough to listen to others who know more. Joan calls Clint and tells him there will be a change, but he panics when he sees Brande from the other team. Herschel follows his teammate frustratedly. Clint and Herschel finally go to tell the builders about the change and they rework the graphic. Brande, meanwhile, is dealing with an issue where Athena’s graphic of Todd, the Lifelock CEO, is not coming through via email. Just as the rest of Athena gets this news, George arrives and comments on the seeming lack of creativity in the room – and how relaxed they are acting!

KOTU is back together and trying to pull their point of sale display and ad together. Joan comments that Natalie is an ‘average’ leader, and that this week on Celebrity Apprentice, Joan and Clint knew that they had to work together! Athena is still struggling – emails are not coming through, and the deadline is quickly approaching. They discover that the file is too large, and Annie presses Brian to have the graphic sent directly to the printer instead of to them first. The team heads over to Brooklyn to see what they have ended up with, and are shocked to discover that Jesse is running a high fever and has thrown up eight times! Melissa comments on Brande’s inability to problem solve, and Jesse suggests to Annie that they print the verbage at Kinko’s and glue it on if they have to!

KOTU sees their display for the first time and realizes that they need the graphic made bigger – immediately! With 15 minutes to spare before the Celebrity Apprentice presentations, Natalie gets the larger graphic. The team relaxes and heads into give their presentation to the Lifelock executives. Joan Rivers is the spokesperson, and reflects later that it wasn’t great – she didn’t do any jokes – but she got the information across. Team Athena is up next. Brian proudly describes their three main display messages and the graphic of Todd the CEO. Brande thinks the team did a great job and that the executives were impressed.

In the Celebrity Apprentice boardroom, Natalie tells Donald Trump that she thinks her team won and did a great job – even Joan and Clint worked well together! Brian McKnight also feels his team did a great job. Brande agrees, but notes that she and Jesse were off on their own. Annie Duke says having the team split up and Jesse sick wasn’t ideal. Ivanka says that the Lifelock executives liked KOTU’s ideas and presentation but their display didn’t house anything! George says that Athena impressed the executives, but they did a spin on something Lifelock had already done and it wasn’t that creative – but they loved that the display housed the product. Donald announces that Natalie and KOTU won – $20,000 for Boys and Girls Club of America.

KOTU retires to their suite to watch the boardroom. Joan feels that Brande will get fired. In the boardroom, Jesse tells Donald that KOTU’s packaging was better. George comments that Team Athena didn’t seem to take the deadlines seriously. Annie Duke points out that Brian was too laid back about that. Back with KOTU, Joan says that Annie is a troublemaker. In the boardroom, Melissa tells Donald that she’s not to blame for the loss as she merely worked hard, but George surprises her by saying she was focusing on the verbage -which was the least important thing! Annie says she’d fire Brian, so does Jesse. Melissa says the weakest link is Brande – she doesn’t do anything extra. Brande defends herself saying she gives 110%. Annie jumps in and says Brande doesn’t stick her neck out. Ivanka calls Annie out for not volunteering to be project manager – she dominates, but never puts her own neck on the line! Brian chooses Brande and Melissa to come back into the boardroom with him. Back in the suite, Joan goes ballistic over Melissa being taken into the boardroom – she prepares to leave because she is so disgusted.

As Annie comes into the suite, Joan confronts her for not defending Melissa or laying into Brande enough – like she told her she would over dinner! Joan says that if Melissa goes, she goes with her! Brian McKnight, Melissa Rivers, and Brande Roderick file back into the boardroom. Brian says they didn’t have as good an idea. Melissa pipes up and says that she thought Annie was an issue for the team, as usual. Donald asks Brian whom he would fire. Brian says he couldn’t fire anyone – he’s not like Donald. Brande thinks Brian doesn’t really w
