Although Natalie might have thought she was a shoe in for America’s Next Top Model, the judges didn’t quite see it that way. Find out what Natalie had to say aboutlast week’selimination andthe way she wasportrayed on the show…
During a Thursday conference call, Reality TV World reported Natalie’s thoughts on being elimination. She said, “Oh my God, [I was] more than surprised. I thought that it was my best feedback that I’ve ever gotten from [photo shoot director Jay Manuel]. I thought I was totally fine, I mean you could totally tell that I was confident about it.To be so confident to say ‘Oh I’m not going home, I have no fear of going home,’ and then I ended up going home. I was kind of like ‘What?’”
So how does Natalie feel about the way she was edited? “The whole show is very… I don’t know what the word would be for it, I’d probably [call] it ‘shady,’ almost because you never know what their intentions are. I mean they edited me to look like someone I’m totally not. So it was really strange, the whole experience was just… I don’t know. I have mixed feelings about it,” shecommented.
“A lot of the things that I did say in the house were actually edited to make me sound a lot worse. They cut out parts that other girls said that caused me to say things and it was really unfairly portrayed,” she continued. “I feel like it was cut and pasted almost together to make me seem snobby and they were almost desperate to get this image of me.”
If she had the option, would Natalie do it all over again? “Yeah I would probably skip the show and do something else! The show did give me the exposure, and that’s great and it’s given me some publicity, regardless of it it’s bad… But to go through it and have people say ‘Oh, you’re a snobby brat,” it’s not worth it to me,” she said.
