April 28, 2009 07:25 PM by Paulene Hinds

Tonight on Dancing With The Stars, host Tom Bergeron was promising the most exciting elimination yet on the show. First up was Team Tango (Lil’ Kim, Ty and Gilles with their pro partners) performing their Womanizer Paso doble from last night. Yesterday Melissa was injured so the judges had to critique her and Tony’s rehearsal tape. The couple were at the bottom of the leader board last night and it would be interesting to see if the viewers voted to keep them on for another week.

Robin Thicke was the guest singer tonight on Dancing With The Stars. The Grammy Award winning R&B singer-songwriter performed When I Get You Alone and the uptempo song made for an exciting choreographed dance.
When I Get Your Alone, was his 2002 debut single from his 2003 debut studio album. The single was an international hit, reaching the top 20 on singles charts in several countries including Australia, New Zealand and Italy.
Robin Thicke is touring with Oscar and Grammy winning singer and actress and American Idol alum Jennifer Hudson on a co-headlining tour.
Melissa was indeed back tonight and looking beautiful. She has started a new treatment for her cracked rib andis hoping to dance next week.

The first couple safe tonight onDancing With The Starswas revealed by Tom Bergeron and it was Lil’ Kim and Derek. Next Samantha Harris revealed that the second couple safe tonightwas Ty and Chelsie.
Robin Thicke thenperformed his hit Side Step from his current album, Something Else.

Tom Bergeron revealed the third couple who would be dancing next Monday night onDancing With The Starsand it was Gilles and Cheryl. Now everyone from Team Tango was safe.
In Week two of the pro dancer competition, four dancers danced. Fans can vote up to 4 times during the voting period and the dancer with the fewest votes, whether male or female, will be eliminated.
Tonight Genya and Afton were paired up for the Quick Step. Genya had never danced the Quick Step before, butAfton was an all around dancer. Their Quick Step was fantastic.
Len said that part of being a professional was covering up blunders, which they didand the dance was well done. Bruno said that they both had the characterization of the dance. Carrie Ann said that she was worried about Genya, but she couldn’t tell that he had never done the Quick Step before.
Anna and Mayo performed the Jive tonight. Being a very tall couple, they were hoping to show that they could do more than a graceful Waltz. They look really great together, too bad we can’t vote for two of them.
Carrie Ann said that she was surprised with Mayo’s performance. Len said that he was surprised that tall people could attack the Jive. Bruno said they both were fantastic.

It was time for more results and the next couple who would be back next week was Shawn and Mark. The two couples remaining were Chuck and Julianne and Melissa and Tony. This week Chuck and Julianne were leaving Dancing With The Stars.
