Tonight on Dancing With The Stars, the competition has never been so close and itwas a make or break night as our celebrities had to prove themselves in two complete dances. With a solo in their Latin round there has never been a better time to see who has what it takes in a push for the final. As we head into the final weeks of the competition, what will the judges be looking for and who will be your favorite?
The first dancers in the Ballroom round on Dancing With The Stars, were Shawn and Mark and this week they were performing the Quickstep. This is where the losers from the winners are separated and Shawn doesn’t want to go home. Shawn is still a little bit too gymnastic in her moves, but the routine was cute. It has more to do with her age than anything else.
Len said it was fun and joyful and this time he saw her personality, but she broke the hold and didn’t make it a perfect routine. Bruno said that Shawn danced like Sporty Spice. Carrie Ann said that this week was the best dance ever and felt bad as she had to take a point off for breaking the rules. Their scores were triple 9′s a 27 out of 30 for tonight.
The second dancers tonight were Ty and Chelsie. They were dancing an Argentine Tango. Ty likes that type of serious routine with the lifts and what he lacks in talent he makes up for dedication. The routine was sexy and Ty has shown that he is in it to win it.
Bruno said that Ty won’t let anyone down with his strength and determination as he is like a Power Ranger. He wasn’t smooth though. Carrie Ann said that this competition is about what you do with what you have, better luck in the next round. Len said that Ty captured the flavor and the essence of the routine and it was his best dance. Their score tonight was 8, 9 and 8 a score of 25 out of 30.
The third dancers this evening were Lil’ Kim and her partner Derek Hough. Tonight they were dancing the Waltz in the Ballroom round. Lil’Kim likes to bust it all out, so she was having difficulty doing the smooth routines. Their routine was well rounded and beautiful.
Carrie Ann said that Lil’ Kim has to make every move big and couldn’t wait to see her Salsa. Len said that the dance was pure and he was shocked at the quality of it. Bruno said that she tried being a lady but she is more comfortable being a tramp. They received 8, 9, 8 a 25 out of 30.
Next Gilles and Cheryl hit the floor with their Fox trot. Gilles hope he could dance like a pro tonight. He is soooo sexy he could dance a polka and I would love him!
Len said that he couldn’t help watching that performance, but the Fox trot needs straighter legs. Bruno said the performance was in a class of its own and it was sophisticated. Carrie Ann said that a performance like that was taking him into the semi-finals. Their scores were 10, 9, and 10 a 29 out of 30.
Then Melissa and Tony danced the Vienesse Waltz. After not performing last week, Tony wanted to be easy on Melissa. Melissa had an eye on the trophy tonight though and gave it her all. She was definately determined and beautiful tonight.
Bruno said that Melissa is beautiful and romantic. Carrie Ann said that Melissa is up and down and needs to work on that. Len said romance and musicality is great but he still wasn’t a fan of her feet. They received triple 9′s tonight a 27 out of 30.
Next the Latin round was about to take place and the first dancers tonight were Shawn and Mark dancing the Paso doble. Shawn was hoping to attack the routine and she really did!
Carrie Ann said that Shawn delivered that dance and nailed it. Len said that he loved the solo part of the routine, but it wasn’t over exciting. Bruno said that Shawn has the killer instinct and scored big. Their score was 10, 9 and 10 a 29 out of 30.
Next the Rumba was being danced by Ty and Chelsie and he was hoping to go up against Gilles tonight and prove he was ready to be in the finals! Ty isn’t a smooth dancer but he has moves! Jewel loved his romantic gesture.
Len said that he saw the moves, but he said in this dance he wasn’t a peacock but a feather duster. Bruno said that he wasn’t that good. Carrie Ann said that right now they were looking for people who would make it in the finals and he wasn’t there. Their scores were triple 7′s a score of 21 out of 30.
Lil’ Kim and Derek were up next dancing the Salsa, which was exciting for Kim. She was going to bring on the peppa’ shaker booty! This is where Lil’ Kim shines and she did!
Bruno said that Kim spins his head right round, right round and her booty can do no wrong. Carrie Ann said that she has not seen a booty shake like that. Len said that the dance was delicious. They received 9, 9, and 9 a 27 out 30.
The second to last dancers tonight were Gilles and Cheryl dancing the Rumba. It was Gilles ultimate goal to do this dance on the show as he loves to show the Latin lover deep inside of him. Hot, Hot, Hot!
Carrie Ann said it was very hot, but the beginning was a bit over the top. Len said that it was fantastic. Bruno said that that is was ravage by the savage. Their scores were 9, 9, and 9 a score of 27 out of 30.
The last dancers tonight were Melissa and Tony and the final dance was the Samba. Melissa was happy to be back in the game. She definately was back in it this week!
Len said that Melissa 100% deserves to be in the semi-finals next week. Bruno said that the dance made him be happy to be here watching it. Carrie Ann pointed out the flaws and there were not any! What? Their scores were triple 10′s a perfect score of 30!
