Simon Cowellsat down with Oprah on Monday to discuss some of your favorite reality TV shows including American Idol. They also talked about the recent phenomenon surrounding Susan Boyle from Britain’s Got Talent, who has turned into an internet sensation. Simon also gives his opinion about who will win this year’s American Idolstating, “My money is on Adam Lambert because the contestant is fearless, unique, and he’s got swagger.”

    Simon seemed like a nice, genuine, intelligent guy in this interview. Maybe his mean-guy act IS just an act. Or maybe he’s just brutally honest because he wants people to be the best and wants the best artists to win so he makes a lot of money. But I don’t think he’s a bad guy at all. Anymore.

    You know, I agree with you labiscuit. I think he really does have the contestants’ best interest in mind… and that is why he’s so brutally honest.
