Remember this reality show? Oh, you don’t? Thatmight bebecause no one watched it. Although the show was a failure of epic proportions, someone is actuallytrying to take credit for it as reported by TMZ.com. Last Friday, a lawsuit was filed against Mark Burnett, the creator of Pirate Masters.

According to TMZ, James Papa wants the world to know that Pirate Masters, which aired on CBS in 2007,was his creation. He said that after coming up with the idea in 2003, he registered it with the US Copyright Office. James claims that Mark Burnett stole his idea of “having a reality show on a pirate ship and making eliminated contestants walk the plank.”

Jamesfiled the suit last Fridayin L.A. County Superior Court, and is demanding no less than $2,000,000. Technically, if this is true, shouldn’t James have to pay CBS for their trouble?
