Fox Creates New Reality Series ‘I Married A Stranger’

Just when we thought arranged marriages were a thing of the past, FOX goes and does something like this. The network is currently developing a series that will set up women in their late 30′s, who are unlucky in love.Oh, how thoughtful. Butdid we mention she won’t be able to meetthe man of her dreamsuntil her wedding day? However, the bride’s family and friends will help to choosethe groomfrom a group of five eligible bachelors. Apparently, the men are eliminatedone by one until one “lucky” man remains to walk down the aisle. As the men are booted off, the bride gets to meet them. This is just to torture her I’m assuming. According to a reportMSNBC, “She never meets him until the actual moment when they say ‘I do,’” a source close to the project said. “It’s like the big scene that comes after an entire season of The Bachelor, only this is in every episode.

After the wedding, viewers will get to see clips from the couple’s honeymoonfollowed by their life as newlyweds. Although this show may seem a bit out there, CBS actually has a series called Arranged Marriage scheduled to hit next fall.
