It looks like it might finally be the end of Kelly Bensimon’s court case drama with ex-boyfriend Nick Stefanov.The Real Housewives of New York Citycast memberwas originally charged with assault after allegedly hitting her boyfriend. Keep reading to find out what happened…
According to UsWeekly, a deal was reached in court on Monday. Apparently, Kelly had to admit that she hit Nick last March, but she didn’t have to accept the guilty plea.She will also have to do two days of community service, and if she is not arrested for an entire year the assault charges will be lifted.If the two happen to have another confrontation, Kelly can receive more penalties, as she is currently undera partial order of protection.
“I’m very pleased. Justice was served,” Kelly said after the hearing. She claims that she only hit Nick because he refused to leave her house. “I learned that if a man is in your apartment and he won’t leave, that you should do absolutely whatever it takes,” she continued. “Bad things happen to good people.”
“I’m just very grateful” to return to “my awesome career” and “beautiful children. I’m a very lucky woman,” she said.
