Survivor Samoa: Hopeful Walks 2,200 Miles To Get Rejected

June 17, 2009 10:11 AM by Britteny Elrick

I would walk 500 hundred miles, and I would walk 500 more justtobe told I wastoo nice to be on Survivor. Okay, no I wouldn’t, and it was more like 2,200. Greg Insco, 26, tried desperately to make an impression on the producers of Survivor: Samoa by walking 2,200 miles from Cincinnati to Los Angeles to audition. However, the CBS producers thought he was “too nice” for reality TV. Man, first relationships and now reality shows? Nice guys can’t catch a break.

According to the Cincinnati Enquirer, Greg Insco says the rejection killed his dreams, and he wonders if he would have fared better if he had been a jerk. Insco says the life he’s returning to is more reality than the producers will ever understand. He says he faces about $70,000 in credit card debt, foreclosed property and a repossessed car when he returns to Cincinnati.

Here’s a sneak peek of Survivor: Samoa… the one that Greg won’t be on.
