Matt Giraud is currently living out his lifelong dream while traveling the countrywith theAmerican Idolconcert tour. Popstar.com met up with him to talk about life on the road, his style, and hisplans for the future. Keep reading to see what he said…
When asked how the tour has been going, MatttoldPopstar,”I am doing great; it has been a wild ride so far. I love it, every night I still get pumped for the shows and the fans. It’s like stepping out into some kind of dream you have always had.” He continued to say that in his spare time he watches the History Channel and the Discovery Channel because he is “a big history nerd.”
So what does he plan to do once thetour is over? “My number one thing is I can’t wait to get signed and make an album, write and collaborate with other people. I am writing right now so that is my biggest goal, to make music, stay busy, travel. I want to make really great music, which is my dream,” he said. “Soulful rock. I like The Fray and Gavin McGraw,” he said of his style. “I envision myself on the piano with a band around me; I think I have something to offer to the world.”
Matt said that if he could give one message tohis fans it would be: Thank you so much for voting and believing in us. Anyone who didn’t give up and still backed me, I really appreciate you guys. Thank you very much!
