The season premiere of Dancing With The Stars is still a week away, and already the injuries are starting. First on the list: former House Majority leader Tom DeLay. Keep reading to find out what happened…
Tom DeLay twittered yesterday, “Old age is catching up to me. May have a stress fracture in my foot. No worries, it’ll take more than that to keep me off the dance floor.” Oh, come on Tom, you can’t be THAT old if you just tweeted?
After last season’s snowstorm of injuries, which resulted in Jewel and Nancy O’Dell having to quit before the show even started,  the producers set a five hour per day limit on rehearsals. However, a follow-up tweet from Tom has informed us that there should be no worries of whether or not he will be competing.  ”No stress fracture. It’s a pre-stress fracture. I live for another day,” he wrote.
Dancing With The Stars kicks off Monday, September 21 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
