America’s Got Talent: Kevin Skinner Has No Idea What To Do With Prize Money

Of all the amazing performers on this season of America’s Got Talent, the chicken farmer from Kentucky ended up winning over the heart of America. Guitarist Kevin Skinner was so shocked after winning the one million dollar prize on Wednesday night’s finale that he was speechless.
Kevin will not only become an instant millionaire but he will also headline the Vegas show at Planet Hollywood Resorts and Casino, hosted by Jerry Springer. The show, which will feature other finalists from the season, will start on October 7th and run for ten weeks.
After the show, Kevin told Usmagazine.com, “It’s more than words can explain. I’m 35, so I have been chasing the dream for awhile, and it hasn’t come true [until now]… I had never experienced anything like that and probably never will again.”
“I hadn’t really thought about the money,” he continued. “I’m thinking more right now about what I’m going to do in Vegas. I’m excited about it. I have always been a performer… If you’re a performer you know how that feels. It’s good. It’s like flying a kite. It’s natural. You sing to the people, you sing to your fans, you try to be real.”
