In the latest issue of Life & Style magazine, former Bachelorette star, Trista Sutter, talks about the battle to get her pre-baby body back. Trista, who delivered her second baby via C-section, said that this time around it was much more difficult to shed those extra pounds. Keep reading to see how she did it…
Trista, who weighed only 108 pounds before getting pregnant, told Life & Style that she gained 50 pounds with while carrying her second child. “It was harder to lose weight this time around,” Trista said. “I gained 10 more pounds this time.” Trista’s first child, Max, is now two years old.
The reality TV star admits that she waited 2 1/2 months after having her C-section to start exercising. But now that she’s back in the swing of things, she is happier than ever. “I’m in mommy mode all day long, so to have an hour to myself four times a week to just sweat it out is a little relief for me,” she added.
Trista tries to focus on her core when doing workouts. “My routine is a mix of cardio and interval resistance training,” she said of her workouts with her personal trainer. “For obvious reasons, my abs were the one area that didn’t jump right back into position after I had Blakesley, so I’m still really focused on working on them and getting more toned,” she continued. “I want to put on even more lean muscle and replace the fatty tissue.”
