Big Brother: Adam Jasinski Used Prize Money To Sell Drugs

October 21, 2009 03:00 PM by Britteny Elrick

Remember dear, sweet, awkward Adam Jasinski from last season’s Big Brother? And remember how he bragged about all his volunteer work and swore he would give away a bunch of his prize money to help less fortunate individuals?  Well… that’s not quite what happened.

According to People.com, Adam Jasinski was arrested Saturday for using his $500,000 Big Brother grand prize to buy thousands of pills of the controlled painkiller Oxycodone.  Oh, but they weren’t just for his own personal use… he resold them. According to the report, Adam confessed to his shenanigans after he was caught by an undercover cop in Massachusettes, to whom he was attempting to sell 2,000 pills.

The Drug Enforcement Agency affidavit states that Adam resisted arrest and tried to dispose of evidence when he was busted in a strip mall.  However, he finally ended up admitting to using his prize money to buy and resell drugs along the East Coast. Adam is facing up to 20 years in prison and $1 million in fines.

I always knew something just didn’t seem right about dear, sweet, awkward Adam.
