So You Think You Can Dance: Top 20 Revealed

So You Think You Can Dance on FOX revealed your top 20 contestants tonight. During an evening filled with surprises and history in the making, would your favorites move on? Or would they face the same fate that so many have seen on this journey and end up heading home?
Well, it was history in the making tonight on So You Think You Can Dance on FOX. The night started off on that note with the very first top 20 pick. Nathan, made history tonight by becoming the youngest top 20 contestant in the show’s history. If you recall, he actually was given a season 6 Vegas ticket during his season 5 audition, when he was only 17 and ineligible to be on the show .
The history did not stop there on So You Think You Can Dance tonight. You remember the very first week of auditions, when we had a tap battle going on? Well, tonight for the very first time in So You Think You Can Dance history, we got not only one tapper to make the top 20, but 3 tappers made our top 20! Bianca was our first, and only female tapper followed by Phillip and Peter. Could this be the season we have a tapper win?!?!
Tonight on So You Think You Can Dance on FOX we also saw our very first Krumper get through as Russell was asked to join the top 20. Another favorite who was asked to join the top 20 tonight was Legacy. It was a crazy Vegas week for him, but in the end it paid off.
And in a twist of fate, we also have our very first husband and wife team to get through. Ashleigh and Ryan both made it through, although Ashleigh’s spot was not chosen immediately. One of the prior top 20 picks, Paula did not accept her invitation as she was offered a movie deal that she did not want to pass up, lucky for Ashleigh. The judges kept this to themselves until the very last second, so Ashleigh and Ryan were sweating for a while there.
