Big Brother: Adam Jasinski Held Without Bail

October 31, 2009 11:12 AM by Britteny Elrick

Things aren’t looking so good for Big Brother winner Adam Jasinski. After being caught selling 2,000 Oxycodone pills to an undercover cop, Adam was put in prison, facing up to $1 million in fines and 20 years in the slammer.  Keep reading to hear all the latest…

According to E! News, U.S. District Judge Leo T. Sorokin denied Adam’s request to be released from prison on his drug trafficking charges. “He is detained,” court clerk Maria Simeone told E! News.

“[Sorokin] determined that the government had met its burden of proof based on the evidence and that the defendant posed a risk of flight.”

Adam had been set up by a local drug dealer who was arrested earlier that month.  He had arranged to meet Adam at the Logan International Airport, where he then followed him to a strip mall in North Reading, MA.  Jasinski eventually revealed a sock full of pills and admitted to using his Big Brother prize money to obtain thousands of Oxycodone pills, which he was reselling.
