The Biggest Loser heads to the nation’s capitol tonight as the Losers take Washington DC by storm. Along the way, they will have an opportunity to cook at the White House and train in front of the Washington Monument with trainers, Bob and Jillian. Hopefully, they will individually manage to do enough to stay at the ranch for yet another week but for one, the trip to Washington will be the final little pleasure as they head home afterwards.

Host Allison Sweeney congratulated the Losers on making it to week eight and sent the Losers to Washington DC to help America quite being a bunch of big folks. Evidently if you send a bunch of big folks to the Nation’s capitol, it will inspire the nation to become slimmer. Nice gesture, I guess.

Alison said that the Losers will all get to speak to Senators about their journey as Losers and would also be making a trip to the White House. Additionally, the Losers were finally no longer teams but individuals at the weigh-in. I was getting tired of all of the goofy team drama anyway.

Allison gave the Losers a pop challenge of getting as many people as possible to the lawn of the Washington Monument to work out with Bob and Jillian. The task was simple, get people to come exercise with them by passing out stickers and the winners would get to take their group to Subway.

Allison Sweeney said it was between Liz and Allen for the most people there and, believe it or not, Liz got more folks to the mall than anyone else. Bob and Jillian led the group in an exercise regiment, with Bob leading the group and Jillian relishing her job in charge of all abuse as she was going around and “Picking on total strangers” as she said.

The Losers headed to congress to talk about the big problems of Losers and the challenges of obesity in America. Daniel was talking about the challenges of obesity as a student and some of the other Losers, along with Bob and Jillian, were able to talk to the Senators about things that can be done to assist Losers all over America from an educational standpoint.

Ali gave the Losers their next challenge and told them that they had to start by running a mile, significant of the mile they ran the first day at the ranch. Tracey was scared as it was the first mile that did her in on day one. Three of the Losers would be eliminated and then the remaining six would continue to the second of four legs of the immunity challenge. Shay was pretty much out of it rather quickly and she was joined by Tracey and Danny to miss out on a shot at immunity.

The second leg was to pick up pennies on stairs and race up and down filling a jar with pennies. Liz chose to sit it out for winning the pop challenge, leaving three losers to continue on to the third leg. Rudy and his big hands easily got him into the next round followed by Daniel and Rebecca.

The third round had Liz, Daniel, Rudy and Rebecca balancing themselves on a brick with the top two going for immunity. Daniel was out first, followed by Liz, giving Rudy and Rebecca a chance for immunity.

The final round had the two doing a step challenge in front of the White House and the first of the two to do two hundred and six steps would win immunity. Rebecca jumped out to a slight lead as Rudy was struggling to keep up. Rebecca was a stair-stepping fool and easily out stepped Rudy for immunity.

The Losers headed into the White House and they all were dressed very casual for a visit to the President’s House. After they picked veggies from the White House garden, they enjoyed a fresh made salad in the White House kitchen. Not bad for a bunch of Losers.

A Washington health club was the setting for the last Chance Workout and Jillian was ecstatic that she now was not having to work out the Black team only and could torture everyone equally. Jillian took her moments to punish Tracey as she thought was too involved in gameplay and not in losing weight.

The Weigh-In

A big scale was set up in Washington for the weigh-in by the Lincoln Memorial. Allison reminded that it was everyone for themselves and that the bottom two below the yellow line would be up for elimination.

Rebecca had immunity; She lost 4 pounds

Shay lost 9 pounds finally putting her below 400 pounds and giving her a 2.24% weight loss

Tracey lost 3 pounds for a 1.52% and, if she falls below the yellow line, she is gone as she is disliked by everyone

Daniel finally had a decent week and lost 11 pounds for a 4.04% weight loss

Allen lost 9 pounds for a 3.44% weight loss

Danny lost 12 pounds for a 3.48% weight loss

Rudy lost 9 pounds for a 2.64% weight loss

Liz lost a disappointing 3 pounds for a 1.36% weight loss and definitely putting her below the yellow line

Amanda needed to lose more than 3 pounds to beat Tracey and stay above the yellow line. She pulled a 7 pound weight loss, definitely sending Tracey out the door if grudges hold true.

It was pretty much a no-brainer as Tracey has burned so many bridges in her stay at the ranch, but Liz has been relatively quiet throughout the season and didn’t really fight to stay. Even Shay said that she didn’t think Liz fought hard enough to stay.

At a makeshift elimination table in front of the Lincoln Memorial, Alison asked for the votes and Amanda gave her vote to Tracey and Shay voted for Liz. Danny voted for Tracey, as he was Liz’s friend and said he would never write her name down; Daniel voted for Tracey and Rebecca finished Tracey off surprising no one as karma finally caught up with her.

Tracey started her journey at 238 pounds and now looks great and has lost 85 pounds total since fist stepping on the ranch and is training to run a marathon. Good for her.
