Real Housewives Of Orange County: Jeana Keough Discusses Why She Left
November 08, 2009 11:00 AM by Britteny Elrick

Last week on the season 5 premiere of The Real Housewives of Orange County, you may have noticed that Jeana Keough was still there despite rumors that she would be leaving the show. Well, those rumors actually are true. After the third episode, Jeana will no longer be a part of the cast. Keep reading to hear what she said her reasons were for leaving…
Obviously, Jeana is in the middle of a divorce and her real-estate career is on the decline. As evidenced in the premiere episode, Jeana was having a hard time disciplining herself not to drop $300 on lunch. Bravo has said that she quit the show so she can put all her efforts into her career. But is that really the case?
“I just didn’t feel appreciated by the girls or the network,†Jeana told The Daily Beast. “There’s a lot of work that is involved—it’s an all-year-round thing with all of the shooting and the press, and it wasn’t enough.â€
Jeana’s money problems are also causing rifts in her friendships. On the premiere, Vicki told Tamara that she declined Jeana’s request to borrow money. “I would have been borrowing money for a week when I didn’t want to pay a $200 late fee for something and she knew I had a check coming,†Jeana explained. “With Vicki, it’s all about Vicki, but I’ve always forgiven her because she’s got issues. She had a tumor in her ear and she’s had nine brain surgeries,” she admitted. “She’s high-functioning and she keeps her house immaculate, but her people skills are a little strange.â€

I know this is very old news, but I’ve just started watching this season and I really like her, so I hope she got back on her feet. Now I know she was never poor, but again, I really liked her
haha!
