Biggest Loser: Alexandra White And Hollie Self Give Weight Loss Tips

Two former contestants on The Biggest Loser recently spoke with Usmagazine.com to share their secrets of success. Both Alexandra White and Hollie Self were eliminated from the show, however, they have managed to reach and maintain their goal weights all on their own. Keep reading to find out how they did it…
“After spending one short week on the ranch — I was the first eliminated — I was distraught,” Alexandra told Usmagazine.com. “I felt lost. I didn’t know where to start, where to go.” Alexandra, who weighed 309 pounds at the time, said she continued to study up on nutrition after she got home. “I really had no clue about diet or exercise,” she added. “I learned through all of this that it’s really about watching your calories and pushing yourself.”
Alexandra is now weighing in at 220, but her final goal is to reach below 200 pounds.
Hollie, who lost 105 pounds on the show, takes a different approach: a food journal. “I really keep track of every single calorie that I put into my mouth,” Hollie told Us. “Before I went on the show, I would eat 1,200 calories for breakfast!”
“I feel empowered, like I can do anything,” she said of the upcoming triathlon she is going to participate in.
