November 17, 2009 08:16 PM by Paulene Hinds

All four competitors on Dancing With The Stars deserve a shot to be in the finals, but only three can go on. The show was packed with special guests tonight; Alicia Keys, Leona Lewis, The Bee Gees and season 8 sweetheart Melissa Rycroft. Did your favorite dancer make it through to next week? Keep reading to find out who would be the final three!

The repeat dance of the evening was Mya’s and Dmitry’s Salsa and Len said it deserves it as it received a perfect score last night for Mya’s Tutti Fruiti booty. Professional dancers then performed a themed dance number to Fergie’s song, Be Italian, from the film Nine, which is set to hit the theaters Christmas Day. Choreographed by Keith Young, the routine included former Pussycat Doll Carmit Bachar and costumes from the film. The ending of the dance performance was cool as the dancers fell to the floor in the shape of the number 9.

The first special guest tonight on Dancing With The Stars was the twelve-time Grammy Award winner, Alicia Keys making her television debut performance of her new single, Try Sleeping with a Broken Heart, from her upcoming fifth album, The Element of Freedom. With four acclaimed albums to her credit, the New York native has built an unparalleled repertoire of hits and accomplishments, with over 30 million albums sold worldwide.

Next the stars performed a video of the song, Under Pressure. It was awesome and so well done. Hosts Tom Bergeron and Samantha Harris then announced the first couple that would be making it into the finals next week and it was Mya and Dmitry.

The second guest of the evening was the multi-platinum artist and three-time Grammy nominee Leona Lewis. She performed her first single, Happy, from her brand new album, Echo.

The tension was on again for the stars as the next couple in the finals was revealed and it was Donny and Kym.
The special night of musical performances continued and with over 200 million records sold worldwide, Barry and Robin Gibb from the legendary Bee Gees took to the Dancing with the Stars stage with their hit, You Should Be Dancing, to celebrate their 50th Anniversary and the release of their new hits collection, The Ultimate Bee Gees. Professional dancers Cheryl Burke, Tony Dovolani, Chelsie Hightower and Artem Chigvintsev accompanied them on the dance floor along with season 8 favorite star, Melissa Rycroft.

Finally, on the ninth week of the competition on Dancing With The Stars, the couple leaving tonight was announced and it was Joanna and Derek, which meant that Kelly and Louis were going into the finals next week!
Next Monday, the final three will head into the home stretch on Dancing With The Stars, at 8 PM ET on ABC.
