Tonight on Tabatha’s Salon Takeover on BRAVO, Tabatha Coffey heads to Eclectic Salon in Los Angeles, CA. Due to an unprofessional staff, a filthy salon and her own neglect of the business, Jacqui, the owner is facing bankruptcy and financial ruin. Will Tabatha be able to pull out this sinking salon before it’s too late, or is already beyond help? Keep reading to find out!
Almost immediately after entering Eclectic Salon during tonight’s episode of Tabatha’s Salon Takeover on BRAVO and speaking with Jacqui Montero, the owner of the salon, Tabatha can see exactly why this salon is failing. She brings in her friend and celebrity stylist, Kim Kimble with her to evaluate the staff and their work since that was the first problem that Tabatha noticed.
They were both shocked at how the staff performed. The stylists were extremely unprofessional, lazy and loud, to the point that Jacqui doesn’t even want to be there. They have no respect for their customers, don’t seem to care about them, and would rather save products even if it means a sloppy job for the customers. The worst of the staff is by all means, the receptionist who claims that no one understands the “emotional pullback” one has to have to be in her position. Really now – to be a receptionist, you have got to be kidding!
The next problem Tabatha observed was Jacqui’s lack of passion for her business. Tabatha has a long heart to heart with Jacqui and lets her know that she needs to take charge, especially with the staff. Jacqui has filed personal bankruptcy just to keep the salon afloat and her staff has no idea that any of this is going on. Her staff not only lacks respect for the customers, but for her as well. A few of them have even bounced checks to Jacqui, no wonder this salon is in financial ruin. Tabatha decides this needs to be changed and can be changed by her taking over immediately.
After a successful reopening promotion – well that is everyone but the receptionist who did nothing all day, Tabatha is able to talk Jacqui into filling in her staff on the bankruptcy so they will understand how serious the situation is and hopefully change their ways. Jacqui ends up having a meeting with the staff and letting them know about what’s going on. The staff is shocked and in tears. They all vowed to step it up for Jacqui who has been there for them when times got rough.
Re-opening day finally comes for Eclectic Salon on Tabatha’s Salon Takeover on BRAVO and the staff is pumped up. Once again, everyone but the receptionist, who didn’t even show up. Tabatha is amazed at the complete turn around of the staff. She and Jacqui discuss the progress of the staff and decide the only one who needs to go is the receptionist. Jacqui calls her and lets her, and the rest of the staff is ecstatic to hear the news.
6 weeks after first visiting the Eclectic Salon, Tabatha pays them a visit to see how things are going. She is greatly pleased to see how well they are doing. They are all working together, the business has picked up immensely, and they hired a new receptionist who actually shows up and does not make excuses. Looks like Tabatha’s work is done here, another successful takeover!
