Ghost Hunters: Voices Swirl In Spooky Lighthouse

Another haunted lighthouse hit the radar for the Ghost Hunters team over on SyFy. These types of locations always seem to bring the creepiest content — would the Pensacola Lighthouse in Florida live up to some of the other lighthouses the TAPS team has investigated?
Upon their arrival, two people were waiting to give them a tour. After a bit of history on the lighthouse, they were told of all the scary happenings that have taken place. There were rumors of a murder where the keeper and his wife lived although it was never a documented case. In the Keeper’s Room, there were also reports of a woman’s voice being heard along with guests experiencing cold spots. Next, they climbed the 177 steps to the top of the lighthouse to hear other reports of spooky events including one where people on the ground reported seeing a woman in a white dress walking around the top — and the beam from the light passed right through her!
Investigation Starts
Jason and Grant started out in the main tower of the lighthouse, and immediately the K2 meter was picking up crazy readings. Then they suddenly heard loud banging sounds like somebody had been walking above them. Upon further investigation, they realized they were the only two people inside. “Lighthouses are freakin’ crazy,” Grant said as they kept climbing the spiral staircase. Once they got to the top, Jason and Grant worked to recreate the sounds, but they had no explanation for the experiences they had.
Next, Jason and Grant went to the room where a murder was reported. That’s when more strange sounds started firing up. Again, they couldn’t determine the origins. Later on, a light Grant was holding started turning on and off in its own.
Other investigators also experienced paranormal things during their stay at the lighthouse. Some heard voices, others felt cold breezes and listened to other noises that sounded like footsteps. As more footsteps sounded, one investigator said it had walked right by him. He said he could feel the impact of the footsteps on the floor next to him. Creepy.
Evidence Reveal
After analyzing all of the evidence, Jason and Grant revealed some of their personal experiences. They also played an EVP that was captured when in the room where somebody had supposedly been murdered. Grant asked the entity if they had been attacked there, and the response (which was caught on audio recording) was “No.” They felt like they definitely had a haunted location.
