Shayne Lamas Talks About Her DUI Arrest

Last weekend, the news broke that Shayne Lamas was arrested in L.A. after being given a breathalyzer. She immediately accepted full responsibility for drinking, but said that she had every confidence she would pass a routine checkpoint. Keep reading to hear what Shayne told Life & Style about her experience…

“I thought this is fine, that’s why I chose to drive,” Shayne told Life & Style about the one vodka/soda she had with dinner. “When the officer said he was going to take me in, I just started bawling. They handcuffed me. It was the most embarrassing, traumatic and scary experience of my life.”

And if you’ve seen Leave It To Lamas, you know that daddy wasn’t happy. “He was the first person I called,” she continued. “I told him the story, and he told me how disappointed he was in me and that it’s disappointing for my little sister to see her big sister get in trouble like this.”

After the horrible experience, Shayne said that she’s learned her lesson. “What I’ve learned and what I hope others have learned from my mistake is that it takes just one drink,” she added.
