America’s Next Top Model Winner Nicole Fox: “I’ve Never Had A Boyfriend”

Small town girl, Nicole Fox, has been crowned the winner of this season’s unique America’s Next Top Model competition, where none of the contestants were taller than 5’7. The 18 year-old recently talked to PEOPLE about embarking on this exciting new journey and how different her life has become…

Although Nicole won several of the challenges throughout the season, she admitted to a lack of confidence in the beginning. “Coming into the competition, it was pretty obvious to everyone that I didn’t have the most self-confidence, the most presence of all the girls out there,” she said. “I never say the right things. I’ve never [ever] had a boyfriend.”

“It seemed like the judges saw me being able to do [high] fashion as well as commercial modeling,” she continued. “But beyond that, I suspect that the fact that I’m a more shy, quiet person helped me in that Tyra Banks and the judges knew that a lot of girls out there could relate to my personality.”

And boy is she ever ready to ditch that small town. “Moving will be such an adventure waiting for me,” she said. “I can’t wait to see where I end up. I’m ready for the modeling world. I’m ready to move all over the world if need be, but I’m not ready for a boyfriend!”
