On the final Dancing With The Stars performance show tonight, the couples competed against one another with three brand new dances, either a Ballroom or Latin dance, as well as the much anticipated Freestyle dance and a megamix challenge. In the megamix, the three finalists faced off at the same time in a group number made up of three dance styles, the Viennese Waltz, the Samba and the Jive. Don’t forget to vote if you want to see your favorite win the mirror ball trophy tomorrow night on the season finale.

The first dancers tonight were Kelly and Louis. Carrie Ann came in and gave them pointers on their Argentine Tango and for the first time Kelly was feeling as if she got the dance right. Their dance tonight was super HOT! Len said that Kelly had made it to the finals with hard work and perseverance and danced right up there. Bruno said that she was the revelation of this season. Carrie Ann commented that Kelly had come miles ahead and the dance was very sophisticated. Their first set of scores tonight were 9, 9 and 8 a 26.

Next up with her first dance was the highest scoring dancer of season 9, Mya and her partner Dmitry. They were dancing a Pasodoble. The grumpy judge Len was their coach. He really pushed them into making their moves big and strong. Len has been their worse critic this season, so he was up for the game of getting them the crown. They listened to Len…their routine was strong and bold. Bruno said the power of Mya was unleashed for all to admire. Carrie Ann dubbed Mya the Queen of the Pasodoble and Len said that the pressure was immense and yet she danced like she had no pressure at all. Their first scores were 10, 10 and 10 a perfect 30, their third this season!

Donny and Kym were up next with their first round dance and this week they were dancing the Cha Cha. Bruno went in and had Donny really push off with his moves and also taught him to look up. It was a slow groove and Donny really went for it. Carrie Ann asked Donny where his hips came from. Len said Ding Dong Donny, that was a Cha Cha Cha! Bruno said that Donny is a credit to his profession and worked with such a great attitude. The judges gave them 9, 9 and 9 a 27 out of 30.

Next all of the finalists were dancing the same choreography side by side in the same formation during the megamix challenge. The three styles were Viennese Waltz, the Samba and the Jive choreographed by Dancing With The Stars alum, Nick Kosovich. Mya did outshine for the most part, but Donny kicked it up in the end during the Jive. Kelly seemed to stumble a little bit throughout. Len said that it was really difficult to judge and that shows how close they all are. Bruno and Carrie Ann made comments to all three of the dancers, critiquing them for their attributes. The ranking scores were 26 points Kelly and Louis, 28 points Donny and Kym and with 30 points Mya and Dmitry.

The first two rounds were over and the Freestyle round was next. It was time for the dancers to break loose and show the world what they were made of if they wanted to win tonight. The first dancers up were Kelly and Louis. They were dancing to I Will Survive and they took many chances with their choreography. She isn’t the best dancer, but she is the sweetest and cutest dancer they have ever had on this show. Bruno said she looks beautiful even if she fanned the floor. Carrie Ann said that Kelly is definately a survivor and even though she fell down she got back up. Len said that he thoroughly enjoyed the routine. Their final scores tonight were 8, 8 and 8 a 24 with a total of 76.

Next up were Mya and Dmitry who have been in the lead tonight. They argued over their Freestyle dance and in the end they chose a Hairspray type routine. It was very Broadway and I am not sure that I liked it all that much. Carrie Ann said it was high energy and fun, but did not stand out to her. Len said that it is clear that Mya has great dance calibre, but the dance didn’t go anywhere. Bruno said that she had all of the joy of the routine, but he agreed with the other two judges. Their scores were 9, 9 and 9 a 27. 87 total for the night.

Donny and Kym were the final Freestyle dancers tonight and they chose a Broadway routine that was light and fun, but had lots of next tricks in the choreography. He was definately the winner of this round tonight! Len said that it was an absolute showstopper. Bruno said, “Mr. Show business at his best!” Carrie Ann loved the routine and said it was in the hall of fame of this style of dance. They received a perfect 30, for a final score of  85 for the entire night.

Tomorrow night Whitney Housten joins Dancing With The Stars on the season finale at 9 PM ET on ABC.
