Carrie Underwood: “I Wouldn’t Change A Thing”

December 01, 2009 11:02 AM by Britteny Elrick

Recently, Carrie Underwood sat down to film Invitation Only, a show featuring an up-close interview that will air on CMT tonight at 9PM. Throughout the interview, Carrie revealed that she is not scared to be viewed as a role model, rather she embraces it. Keep reading for more details…

As reported by Usmagazine.com, Carrie said that she is very careful of the image she portrays, knowing it will follow her throughout life. “I take it very seriously, and my motto is I would never want to do anything that would embarrass my own children, in the future,” Carrie said. “And I think that’s the best way to look at things.”

Along those same lines, Carrie not only hopes that she won’t embarrass her children but also hopes to make her parents proud. “I never want to do anything that would make my parents, you know, my role models, disappointed in me.”

And with so much already behind her at such a young age, Carrie is satisfied with the path she has taken. “I literally would not change a thing at all, not bad stuff,” she continued. “Not Simon Cowell, like, ripping me apart on national television, in front of millions and millions of people, because that brought me to where I am now. And I’m so blessed, I wouldn’t change a thing.”
