VH1 To Premiere ‘Fantasia For Real’ On January 11, 2010

Former American Idol winner, Fantasia Barrino, will be starring in her own VH1 reality TV show starting in January. Fantasia For Real will follow Fantasia as she attempts to juggle being a single mom to her 8 year-old daughter and recording her third album. Keep reading for more details…

The network believes that Fantasia’s heartfelt life story and day-to-day struggles will strike a cord with audiences everywhere. VH1 executive Jeff Olde said, “Fantasia has engaged millions of fans not only through her music and her amazing talent but also by her incredible fairytale life story.”

“Our audience helped Fantasia become an American Idol and now, with this series, they get a backstage pass into her real life as she confronts obstacles to realize her true potential as an artist, a mother, a daughter and a sister,” he added.

The series will premiere on Monday, January 11 at 10PM ET/PT on VH1 and consist of half-hour episodes.
