TLC To Premiere New Reality Show ‘One Big Happy Family’

TLC is premiering a new reality TV series that follow morbidly obese families and the struggles they encounter on a daily basis. It will also follow their weight loss journey, which will be without the aid of a professional. One Big Happy Family will air on Tuesday, December 29 at 9PM ET.
Six half-hour episodes of the show have been ordered thus far. This season, each episode will track the progress of the Cole family from North Carolina. As a family of four, the Coles weigh in at 1,400 pounds.
The 41 year-old stay at home dad of the family, Norris, weighs 340 lbs., whereas his wife, 36 year-old Tameka weighs 380 lbs. and is the sole breadwinner for the group. Their children consist of 16-year-old Amber, who weighs 348 lbs., and her 14-year-old brother Shayne, who weighs 308 lbs.
