Last night on Barbara Walters 10 Most Fascinating People of 2009, Kate Gosselin took the opportunity to clear the air again. She defended the stance that having her children filmed for a reality show is healthy and even went as far as to say they are sad without the cameras. Keep reading to hear what she had to say…
Despite her soon to be ex-husband’s claims that Jon & Kate Plus 8 was exploiting their children, Kate told Barbara that the kids are sad without their camera crew around. “They cried in the van on the way home from school the other day. I finally admitted to them, they kept asking, ‘Where’s the camera crew? Where’s the camera crew? We miss them.’ And I said, ‘Our show is over.’ …Eight sobbing kids driving home from school,” she said.
Kate also insisted that her kids love watching the DVDs and they think of them as family memories. “Unless you live in my house and, and see how everything that we have done with the show has been such a great experience, you can’t speak,” she added.
Although the family reality show may be over, Kate will be coming back into our living rooms next spring as the host of a daytime talk show.
