Although we might have seen a glimpse of Adam Lambert‘s crazy side while performing on American Idol, it was nothing compared to his recent AMA performance. Adam’s fellow competitor, Kris Allen, says that we had better get used to it ‘cus we haven’t seen anything yet. Keep reading to find out what he said…
“Yeah, that’s who he is,” Kris told the press at last Friday’s Z100′s Jingle Ball at New York’s Madison Square Garden. “Obviously, he couldn’t do that stuff on Idol. And so you’re getting to see the real Adam now.”
As far as his over the top AMA performance which resulted in him being cut from several show’s schedules, Kris said that he wasn’t surprised. “I thought it was Adam being Adam,” Allen said of the infamous night. “I’m going to get a shirt that just says, ‘That’s Adam.’ ”
Even though Adam seems to take all the criticism in stride, his biggest fear is that people will stop loving his music. “[The single 'Whataya Want From Me'] is a great way for me to say to the public, ‘What do you guys want from me? I’m doing my best,’ ” he recently said. “And the best lyric in the song is ‘I’m a freak but thanks for lovin’ me. ‘Cause you’re doing it perfectly.’ ”
