Real Housewives Of New York: Bethenny Frankel Takes It All Off For Peta

December 18, 2009 11:00 AM by Britteny Elrick

Sporting luxurious fur coats is a thing of the past for Real Housewife of New York City, Bethenny Frankel. The newest PETA billboard, featuring the nude reality TV star and reading “I used to wear fur,” was unveiled yesterday in Times Square. Keep reading for more details…

Bethenny told Life & Style of her decision to no longer wear fur, ”I went to a cocktail party and a PETA protester was holding up a skinned animal outside. I looked at it, and it made me sick. That day was a huge change, and since then, I’ve really been against fur. I’m cleaning out my closets — trim, everything.”

Now that she’s gotten rid of all that bulky fur, I guess she’ll have room for other bulky things – such as maternity clothes! “I’m trying to wear all my dresses; squeeze into the ones I won’t be able to wear for the next six months!” she continued. “I’m not all that fashion-forward. I just want to have something that fits, probably 6 or 7 dresses.”
