Deadliest Catch: Joshua Tel Warner Arrested For Bank Robbery

January 01, 2010 01:35 PM by Britteny Elrick

If you thought his fellow crew members didn’t like him before, they’re really going to hate him now. 23-year-old Joshua Tel Warner, of the Discovery channel’s award-winning show Deadliest Catch, was arrested yesterday in Illinois. He was wanted in Oregon for two recent robberies and one back in 2007.

Joshua was initially pulled over in East Peoria, Il for a routine traffic stop. After discovering he had a warrant, the police arrested him and took him to the Tazewell County Jail, where he is being held on $30,000 bail.

In 2007, officials were unable to locate a suspect in the robberies, until Joshua’s appearance on last season’s Deadliest Catch. As Det. Jeff Donaca stated at a press conference: “He was such a unique character on the show that a lot of people remembered him. I don’t think you can end up on national TV, make a spectacle of yourself and not end up getting caught for three bank robberies.”
