My Life On The D-List: Kathy Griffin Gets In Trouble For Dropping The F Bomb
January 02, 2010 09:00 AM by Britteny Elrick

Oops, she’s done it again. For the second year in a row, Kathy Griffin was asked to host CNN’s New Year’s Eve broadcast with Anderson Cooper in Times Square. Last year, Kathy got in trouble for using vulgar language during the live program. Check out what happened this year…
When referencing the balloon boy incident, Kathy was trying to get the boy’s name correct. When trying to say “Falcon” she said something else. We’ll leave that up to your imagination. Anderson Cooper just shook his head and told her she was terrible. CNN made an announcement the next day that they regret profanity was used during the broadcast.
Yesterday, Kathy’s publicist released the following statement: “Like every other serious reporter covering the now infamous balloon boy hoax, I struggled to pronounce his name ‘Falcon’ correctly and have gotten a kick out of how many ways I’ve heard it pronounced by other serious reporters. Just add me to that list and happy new year!â€
