American Idol 9: Show Schedule Announced

Only one more week until the return of America’s favorite singing competition, American Idol. The ninth season, which will include new judge Ellen DeGeneres, will premiere on Tuesday, January 12th with a special two-hour episode starting at 8 PM ET. The auditions will kick off in Boston – keep reading for the entire season schedule…
During the auditions, the Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi will be joined by several different celebrities: Victoria Beckham, Mary J. Blige, Kristin Chenoweth, Neil Patrick Harris, Joe Jonas, Avril Lavigne, Katy Perry and Shania Twain. Once they receive their golden ticket to Hollywood, the contestants will sing for the standard panel of judges, including Ellen DeGeneres.
