With 10 aspiring cooks remaining on Worst Cooks In America on Food Network, Anne & Beau turn up the heat in the kitchens and throw a few surprises their way. Who will have what it takes to move on to the next round and which two contestants will be sent packing? You’ll have to keep reading to find out!
On a brand new episode of Worst Cooks In America on Food Network Anne & Beau surprise the aspiring cooks by taking them to the Arirang Hibachi Steakhouse. But much to the students dismay, they are not there for dinner but for some skill lessons! After observing an Arirang chef chop up veggies with ease and speed, the students are taught some basic knife skills, and then Anne & Beau demonstrate different knife cuts. Next they are asked to practice these skills as they will need them later on for their cooking test.
Next on Worst Cooks In America on Food Network Beau & Anne demonstrate one of their grill recipes and the students are told they must recreate it, part of their test includes implementing the some of the knife cuts they just learned. Beau’s blue team created a steak dish while Anne’s created a scallop dish.
On Anne’s red team, they struggle to get their dishes completed and some of the students just cannot seem to use enough seasoning while others are completely over seasoning their dishes. Rachel’s scallops turned out like hockey pucks while Jennifer’s veggies wound up burnt because she was asked numerous times by Anne to tie her hair up, leaving her to run out in the middle of cooking to pull her hair back. Rebecca cut her finger and was almost in tears asking Anne not to taste her dish, but Anne took her chances.
Beau’s blue team did not fare much better on Worst Cooks In America on Food Network as they desperately struggled with the knife skills, though most had cooked their steaks properly. Beau seemed impressed with Jennifer’s dish in terms of flavor, and was surprised that Marque after winning last week struggled a bit with this dish.
Once back at boot camp, each team was given a recipes from Beau & Anne that once again they had to recreate. This time, however Anne & Beau would not be going over every single step with them as they wanted the contestants to use their memories and skills to help them through this drill. One of the things asked by both chefs was that the students memorize the recipes written on the chalkboards.
About 10 minutes in to cooking their dishes on Worst Cooks In America on Food Network Anne & Beau threw another surprise in the drill for the students as upon asking one last time if they had memorized the recipes. When all the students agreed that they had the recipes memorized, Anne & Beau took their erasers and erased the recipes, leaving the students to rely on their memories alone.
Beau’s team was worried and scrambled to see if anyone had written the recipe down, but no one had. Their dishes were a mess as some were undercooked, while others had the sauce completely wrong. Anne’s team was also a mess as they desperately tried to remember the recipe, but they seemed to be a bit more calm and cool than the blue team. Will these cooks ever get it right?
In the end, it was Marque winning again for the Beau’s blue team and Eddie winning for Anne’s red team. That meant it was time to send two students home. Beau decided to send Dave home since he was so slow and just could not grasp things. Anne decided to send Kelly home because she also could not get it together. Best of luck to both these contestants, hopefully they will continue learning and make us proud!
