American Idol 9 Auditions: The Best and Worst From Chicago
January 20, 2010 02:50 PM by Christine McDow

Last week we saw the premiere of American Idol in both Boston and Atlanta. Last night we got to see the Chicago auditions. We have compiled some of the best and the worst auditions from each city in video format for you and we want you to vote on the ones you like, and dislike the most.
Starting last year the producers at FOX decided to show us more good auditions than the bad and funny ones. Personally I love the bad and funny ones and believe in most cases that the people trying out know they are bad, but are just looking for their 15 minutes of fame. Of course in some case they are bad and really think good.
The Best
There are several we liked, who the judges also liked. What did you think of these? Click below (hint click the image!) to see the videos and then you can decide.
Katelyn Epperly
John Park
Charity Vance
Angela Martin
The Worst
There was definitely more bad then there was good in Chicago. In total, over the two days, only 13 singers made it through. Will one of those 13 make the top 12? Here are some of the worst. Again, click on the image below to watch the videos for who we think are the worst, and then give us your opinion!
Alannah Halbert
Curly Newbern
Brian Krause
