A little over two months after having ten plastic surgical procedures in one day, Heidi Montag, star of MTV’s reality show, The Hills, traveled to Colorado to see her mom for the first time. “I was nervous, but also excited … I never thought in my wildest dreams she was going to react the way she did,” the 23-year old reality star tells People magazine. Keep reading to find out the details of the tense reunion…
The Hills star recently endured ten plastic surgical procedures that included breast implants, butt augmentation, liposuction, and a brow lift in an effort to overcome insecurities from her childhood. After nine weeks of recovering, Montag finally trekked home to Crested Butte, Colorado for a face-to-face reunion with her mom. Unfortunately, the trip–which was filmed for an upcoming episode of The Hills–didn’t go quite as smoothly as Montag had hoped.
“She was looking at me almost like a zoo animal. It wasn’t like I was her daughter anymore. She was looking at me like I was a circus freak,” the Hills star says of her mom. In typical Heidi fashion, she went on to try to justify the behavior saying, ”I think she was most upset that Spencer was there for me and she wasn’t. She was saying how sad it is that my confidence is gone because of the music industry I’m trying to get into.”
Despite claims that her songs would “make an impact in pop history,” Montag’s foray into the music business hasn’t gone so well. Her recently released aptly-named album, Superficial, had abysmal sales in the first week selling fewer than 1,000 copies. We’re sure that news would sadden Montag if she were capable of moving her face.
