Gordon Ramsay is back tonight in an all new episode of Kitchen Nightmares on FOX where he will visit Bazzini’s restaurant in NJ. The owner is so hot headed, he throws tantrums with his staff and when his sous chef walks out, will it push him over the edge? Could this be the one restaurant that Chef Ramsay is unable to save? You’ll have to read on to find out!
The second he walks into Bazzini’s restaurant, Gordon Ramsay is completely turned off by the look and feel of the restaurant on Kitchen Nightmares on FOX. But he was not expecting to be served, cold, raw and rubbery food either which is exactly what owner Paul Bazzini gave him when Gordon Ramsay asked to be served. He gave him mushy, bland risotto, greasy fish and chicken that was so hard he almost broke a tooth on it. Clearly this restaurant was in serious need of his help. Worst of all however was the way Paul treated his staff by ranting, raving and carrying on like a toddler.
Gordon Ramsay was impressed with the desserts however and the dessert chef was impressed with Gordon as well as she tried to hide her attraction to him on Kitchen Nightmares on FOX. Gordon Ramsay did see a drive and passion in Paul when he asked him to create him a quick lunch dish, which turned out to be fresh pasta that was delicious. In a test of time, Chef Ramsay decided to try out lunch on this place since they normally did not serve lunch. Paul made it a quick success by pushing out plate after plate of fresh, delicious pasta for his very happy customers. Paul’s wife decided that they should definitely incorporate lunch back into their restaurant.
After a quick revamp of the dull restaurant on Kitchen Nightmares on FOX, Chef Ramsay was confident that the reopening dinner service would go smoothly. As the restaurant filled with hungry customers, including some NY Giants players, Paul began to crack under the pressure, losing it with the staff once again. But the icing on the cake was when his sous chef disappeared and it became clear that he walked out. Paul was getting extremely frustrated and unable to send his plates out quick enough, some of the customers had been waiting over an hour for their meals.
Gordon Ramsay came to the rescue though along with the rest of Paul’s staff and they pulled together to get the dishes out to the customers. Paul’s dessert chef filled in as sous chef with Gordon working his behind off as well. But would the customers be happy after waiting all that time? Yes, most of them claimed the food was so good that it was worth the wait. By closing though Gordon Ramsay told Paul the cold, hard truth: that he was not ready to make this happen and the heart of the restaurant had to come from him. To this date, despite Paul’s dessert leaving, the restaurant seems to be doing well…all thanks to Chef Ramsay!
