The Bachelorette: Jillian Harris Teams Up With Extreme Makeover: Home Edition

Jillian Harris, the former Bachelorette, is returning to television this spring! She won’t be handing out roses to potential suitors this time. Instead she’s teaming up with Ty Pennington and the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition gang to work as a designer. Keep reading to find out more about The Bachelorette‘s upcoming TV appearance…
Jillian Harris is best known as the adorable and funny girl-next-door who first appeared on The Bachelor as a potential mate for Jason Mesnick before being eliminated and returning as The Bachelorette. Before moving to Chicago to live with current beau (and final rose recipient on The Bachelorette), Ed Swiderski, Jillian worked as an interior designer in her hometown of Vancouver, British Colombia. Her previous design experience is mostly in the restaurant business, but that’s not stopping the Bachelorette from trying her hand at home decorating on an upcoming episode of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.
“I have been an adoring fan of the series for years and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with such an amazing team,” Harris said in a statement for ABC. “Because of the constant love I receive from my family, friends, and now fans, I have always felt like my heart was just bursting with love and hope for others in need. I couldn’t think of a better place or a better way to give back.”
Harris will join the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition team in Slaughterville, Oklahoma to build a new home for a family whose 10-month old son received a heart transplant.
