MTV’s reality show, Jersey Shore, was a surprise hit for the network, pulling in a record-breaking 4.8 million viewers for the season 1 finale. One of the more memorable cast members was Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, the self-professed Guido who loved talking about himself in third person, bragging about his sex life, and showing off his ripped abs. The Situation recently sat down with TV Guide to discuss his love life, the authenticity of Jersey Shore‘s first season, and whether or not he uses steroids…

The Situation certainly had his share of quotable moments on the first season of Jersey Shore. From his daily routine (“GTL: Gym, Tan, Laundry”) to his looks (“somebody who looks like Rambo…with his shirt off”), there was never a shortage of egotistical, self-centered, and just plain hilarious quotes from the reality star. You’ll be happy to know his recent interview with TV Guide was no different. Here are some of the more memorable moments for your reading pleasure…

On his love life: “Right now I take life moment by moment….[but] if I see something that I like, I’ll grab it up.”

On how real the first season of Jersey Shore really was: “Nothing was planned; everything is real. Everybody’s friends on the show and that’s why it’s so real.”

On whether or not he uses steroids: “No way. I’m 100 percent natural. I just have very good genetics. I’ve had a six-pack since I was little, and even if I miss the gym, the six-pack is always there.”

On what’s next for the “reality king”: “There’s a lot of things in the works for me; you never know, you might see a workout video, you might see a book. Right now I’m just taking over the reality world on this first season so I guess you could say I’m like the reality king. After that, maybe one or two more seasons max — but once you do something like that and you’re on top, you do want to move on and graduate to the next level. I’d like to do some acting and maybe even some TV or film but we’ll see.”

Here’s hoping that The Situation, his tan, and his ripped abs will be around for years to come.

Are you kidding? Another season of this crap! I think these kids are retards. They talk about hooking up like they’re running a marathon, they obsess about their looks, which none of them have, and they walk around like they are god’s gifts. And how in gods name do they have a second season called Jersey Shore not filmed at the Jersey Shore? What?…Jersey Shore goes to Cancun or Jersey Shore Takes on South Beach????

I mean, they’ll never capture the spontaneous idiotic behavior as on the first show. After all, they all now already know each other and to boot think they are super celebrities!

They should just find another bunch of uneducated, bottom of the barrel guidos so they can have their 15 minutes of fame….I’m sure they would be lining up around the block and it would save MTV a crap load of $.

If this guy does dancing with the stars, I’m moving to an island. It is called Dancing with the STARS…..not Dancing with People who think they are Stars!

    Enough Already!
