Keeping Up With the Kardashians‘ star, Kim Kardashian, is looking to get into a new line of work: producing. The reality TV star who rose to celebrity status mainly for having a large derriere and being friends with Paris Hilton says she’s been bitten by the producing bug and she wants more. Kim Kardashian, star of the E! reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians, has found a new love in producing and the reality star is determined to make a career producing TV shows. Lots and lots of them. Her recent role as executive producer on the upcoming reality show The SPINdustry has inspired her to continue working behind-the-scenes in television.
“I definitely see myself doing a lot more [producing],” Kardashian says. “It’s something I’m passionate about, and I hope people get an idea of the types of shows I like to do.”
The SPINdustry is a new reality show debuting on E! on February 21st that follows entertainment publicistsÂ Simon Huck and Jonathan Cheban in their glamorous jobs.Â ”People want the glitz and glamour of Hollywood and this show has it,” Kardashian says. “But you also see the realness of Hollywood. They’re very candid about the world of PR. You’ll get that glitz and glamour but with insight into the lives of celebrities.”
TheÂ Keeping Up With the Kardashians star loves her new job as executive producer because “I’m able to share my ideas and see them come to life. I think this is just the start of many projects.”
Kardashian certainly has a good mentor to look up to inÂ Keeping Up With the Kardashians producer Ryan Seacrest. “He’s always been very helpful to me, and he gives me really good advice,” she says of the American Idol host.
