The Real Housewives Of Orange County: Vicki Gunvalson Is A No Show For Tamra Barney’s Birthday

February 25, 2010 09:09 PM by Jennifer

Eyebrows are raised on tonight’s episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County on BRAVO, as Alexis’ mother comes to town for a brow lift, while Vicki skips Tamra Barney’s 42nd birthday party. Let the drama continue!

Tamra has a little get together at a restaurant for her birthday, and Alexis could not come because her mom came to town to have some plastic surgery done. Lynne and Tammy Knickerbocker are there, but Vicki Gunvalson is noticeably missing. Tamra calls her, hoping├é┬áthat she will show up, but being that the party is on a weekday morning, Vicki has to work, and sends her assistant to the party with a gift for her. Tamra is shocked that Vicki sent “her people” with a present and could not even bother to show up. I guess this says something about their friendship. That evening, she goes out for a nice dinner with Simon, and what starts out as a romantic dinner turns into an argument about how they are total opposites, her being outgoing and him a little too reserved. She then brings up Vicki, and Simon makes a comment to the effect of even the worst people have a good side. Ouch!

Vicki has alot on her mind, besides her busy work schedule. She gets together with Jeana Keough and tells her all about Alexis attacking her in San Francisco, and that she cannot stand her. She feels like no one has her back and needs someone to talk to. She is clearly still shaken by her daughter Brianna’s recent thyroid biopsy, and is anxiously awaiting the results. Brianna comes to her home and checks her messages, and the doctor has called and let her know, to every one’s relief, that she does not have cancer. It’s nice to see someone get good news for a change.

On the other side of Orange County, Lynne and her daughters have moved in with her mother after the recent falling out with her husband and eviction from their home. Lynne is unsure if she wants to continue her marriage to Frank after he hid their money problems from her and their daughters Raquel and Alexa. As the girls ponder whether or not their parents will get divorced, Frank calls Lynne and asks her to meet for dinner to discuss their problems. Him starting off the conversation by saying that them being evicted is not that big of a deal was a mistake. She tells him that she cannot take it anymore, and that he needs to be honest with her. He clearly wants to stay married to her, and the smile on her face says the same for her. But this is his last chance.

As far as Gretchen is concerned, she is preparing for the debut of her makeup line, Gretchen Christine Beaute’ at a woman’s expo in town. Just when you think, hey, something that does not involve Slade thank goodness, here he pops up as her assistant. But when the event starts, hardly anyone shows up. You can tell she is upset, but in this economy she kind of expected it.

Next week is the season finale, and I definitely am looking forward to it! See you after the show!

Tune in next Thursday at 10 PM EST for the season finale of The Real Housewives of Orange County on BRAVO to see where their lives take them!

Lynne needs to be spending money on soap for her daughters mouths. I have never heard such trash coming from girls in my life. Frank needs to grow a set and set his foot down on them before they spiral completely out of control, if it’s not already too late. And don’t sit and cry because you got evicted from your house and go out and buy a $1200 jacket. Shopping is not a sport, dear. It’s an addiction and you apparently have it bad. Maybe Frank could have paid the deposit if he wasn’t making monthly payments on your facelift, dear. And now I saw where he’s working for Lynne. Makes you wonder who wears the pants in that family!
