Jake Pavelka’s time as ABC‘s The Bachelor is coming to an end which only means one thing: a new season of The Bachelorette is about to be underway! ABC has announced that the lady picked to be the new Bachelorette will be revealed this Monday night during The Bachelor: After the Final Rose special. So who should be given a second chance at love? The ladies from this season of the reality dating show weigh in on their picks…
The most obvious choice for the next Bachelorette is Ali Fedotowsky, the California beauty who prematurely exited the show in order to save her career. Ali was a front-runner for Jake’s heart early on this season of The Bachelor and fans were certainly sad to see her go during the hometown dates episode. While nothing has been publicly announced yet, Ali has been outspoken about how much she’d love the opportunity.
She recently told Entertainment Tonight, ”One thing I realized since choosing my career is that I can get my career back. I believe in the show. I really do. My feelings for Jake were real and still are real … how I feel about him now. Would I consider it? Yes. I would be so flattered. It is an amazing offer. I don’t know why they would pick me, but it would be fun.”
Ousted bachelorette (and notorious game player) Elizabeth Kitt thinks Ali should definitely be chosen for The Bachelorette. ”I think because she was so well received by everyone,” she says. “My brother is in love with her. My family likes Ali. She is well received because she is real and she is looking for love.”
One woman who is taking herself out of the running is single mom, Ella Nolan. ”If I didn’t have an incredible man in my life right now, I might consider it, but I do,” she tells ET. “He is an army soldier and he is amazing. I would not give that up for any amount of money.” Ella thinks that the new Bachelorette should be Tenley (assuming Jake doesn’t pick her in the end). If not Tenley, Ella puts her money on funny girl, Christina. It seems unlikely though since Christina was eliminated in the second episode.
Last but not least, Gia Allemand, the third runner-up on The Bachelor, could possibly be in the running, despite rumors that she’s already dating again. She told USA Today, ”Yeah, I would definitely consider it. It’s such an amazing experience. I would love to find love and see how it is on the other end.”
