Dancing With the Stars: Kate Gosselin Plans to Win

The tenth season ofÂ ABC‘sÂ Dancing With the Stars doesn’t officially kick off until March 22nd, but the trash-talking has already begun! Kate Gosselin, star ofÂ Jon & Kate plus 8, tells Jimmy Kimmel, “I am gonna win!” Keep reading to find out about her tough practice schedule, what she loves about partner Tony Dovolani, and how she plans to get so many votes…

It’s only been two days sinceÂ ABC announced the celebrity cast of the tenth season ofÂ Dancing With the Stars but the competition is already on for reality TV mom, Kate Gosselin. TheÂ Jon & Kate plus 8 star was a guest on The Jimmy Kimmel Show on Monday night discussing her plans to annihilate the competition.

When she proclaimed,Â ”I am gonna win,” the late-night host asked Gosselin if she was a competitive person.Â ”Have you watched my show?” quipped the 34-year-old star of TLC’sÂ Jon & Kate plus 8.

Gosselin, who previously claimed that she “cannot dance” and wanted to be a part ofÂ Dancing With the Stars “to laugh at myself,” thinks her fiercest competition is going to come from Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger and Baywatch babe Pamela Anderson. TheÂ Jon & Kate plus 8 star, who is paired up with dance pro Tony Dovolani, has already begun practicing with her new partner.

The couple will be rehearsing in her hometown of Wernersville, Pennsylvania so she doesn’t have to be away from her eight children. While the kids are at school, Gosselin and Dovolani will practice at a local studio but when the kids are home, the pair will rehearse in Gosselin’s basement. “The whole goal is obviously to be at home as much as I can and I’ll come home back-and-forth each week. If I can cook dinner and dance, I’ll be doing really well,” theÂ Jon & Kate plus 8 star explains.

Despite the fact that Dovolani wasn’t her first choice (she suggested another dancer thatÂ Dancing With the Stars producers thought was too quiet for her), Gosselin has nothing but love for the dance pro whom she calls “a very positive person.” She says, “Even when I mess up really, really bad – which is a lot – he still has something positive to say.”

How exactly does Gosselin plan to make good on her promise to win the competition? With the help of her eight children, of course. According to theÂ Jon & Kate plus 8 star, when daughter Mady asked if she could vote for her mom, Gosselin told her “Yes, please do,” adding that she told “the little kids” to vote too.
