Heidi Montag, star of MTV‘s The Hills, has gotten a lot of media attention after undergoing ten plastic surgical procedures in one day. Now she’s garnered the attention of a major Oscar-winning director: Ron Howard! The legendary director filmed a spoof for Funny or Die that starred Montag mocking herself. Keep reading for all of the hilarious details…
The Hills‘ starlet, Heidi Montag, has been using her recent plastic surgery to fuel her career in any way that she can. The MTV star is reportedly in talks with Playboy magazine to pose nude in an upcoming issue and she’s also begun designing clothes inspired by her new body. Perhaps the biggest honor came recently when she had the opportunity to work with legendary Hollywood director, Ron Howard.
The two teamed up to shoot a short comedy video for Funny or Die to urge Congress to enact financial reform. ”I was honored to work with the amazing Ron Howard,” Montag, 23, says. “He was even more incredible than I could have imagined – kind, generous and made me feel so comfortable – he made me feel confident in my talent.”
The video, which was filmed in a private home on February 26, included a cameo by Montag’s husband and The Hills co-star, Spencer Pratt. In the humorous film, Montag mocks herself, her reality TV background, and her recent plastic surgery. The video is one in a series launched by the Americans for Financial Reform that will hopefully inspire Americans to call their Congress representatives in an effort to inspire the forming of a strong Consumer Financial Protection Agency.
In the Funny or Die spoof, Montag plays herself and wears a dress she designed. Not surprisingly, The Hills‘ star is capitalizing on the new opportunity saying, ”I am so excited about my acting future. I can’t wait for my next role to be as an action star! This is just the beginning of a whole new world for me.”
