Dancing With The Stars: Mario Lopez Is Going To Be A Dad!

Former Dancing With the Stars star, Mario Lopez, is going to be a dad! The star just announced that his girlfriend, Courtney Mazza, is pregnant and is due this fall, and Lopez couldn’t be more thrilled by the news. “I’m really excited. I’m happy. I can’t wait to be a dad,” the Dancing With the Stars competitor says.
Lopez, who finished in second place on the third season of Dancing With the Stars, met Mazza in 2008 during his run starring on Broadway in A Chorus Line. The couple is elated by the news of their baby on the way. In a statement, Lopez said, “Courtney and I couldn’t be more excited. I’ve waited my whole life to be a dad, this is a true blessing.”
Is Lopez ready to change diapers in his new role as daddy? “Of course,” he says. “I grew up in a large family. I’m fired up!” As for whether or not he’s hoping for a boy or girl, the former Dancing With the Stars contestant doesn’t seem to care. “I don’t know what we’re having. I’m going to wait to see so it will be a surprise.”
A friend of the couples says, “Mario is over the moon with joy since finding out he’s having a baby. She’s approximately three months pregnant and is healthy and happy.”
