She may be divorced twice over, but that’s not stopping superstar Madonna from doling out marital advice on NBC‘s The Marriage Ref! The pop music icon is joining comedians, Larry David and Ricky Gervais, on a brand-new episode of Jerry Seinfeld’s reality advice show tonight. Keep reading to find out what The Marriage Ref himself had to say about Madge’s visit…

Madonna may not know a lot about how to make a marriage work, but she has no problem mediating fights as evidenced on tonight’s episode of NBC‘s The Marriage Ref. The singing superstar joins Curb Your Enthusiam‘s Larry David and British actor/comedian Ricky Gervais on the celebrity panel to arbitrate real-life couple’s marital disputes. According to The Marriage Ref himself (host Tom Papa), Madonna is wonderful on the show!

“The minute I saw [Madonna] backstage,” says Papa, “I knew she was going to be great because she was playful and fun. She came out there, sat between Ricky Gervais and Larry David and held her own. She was not backing down!” According to previews for tonight’s episode of The Marriage Ref, Larry David and Madonna get into a few tiffs of their own.

At the end of the episode, Larry David said, “This is easily the most uncomfortable hour I’ve ever spent in my life.” Madonna quickly sniped back, asking, “Why? Because you’re sitting next to a woman who is standing up to you?”

Madonna’s own brother recently spoke out about her stint on the NBC show saying, “I can’t imagine what she’s doing on The Marriage Ref giving advice to married couples. I guess it’s kind of ironic. Everyone has their experiences regarding marriage: hers are maybe what not to do.” Ouch. Pretty harsh there, bro!

Regardless of how qualified she is to dole out marriage advice, Madonna’s stint on NBC‘s The Marriage Ref should certainly be entertaining!

The Marriage Ref airs tonight on NBC at 10pm EST with special celebrity guests, Ricky Gervais, Larry David, and Madonna.
